ATV 111: Technical Mathematics & 3D Printing
Course will consist of lectures, videos, and lab work (3D printing). The course will provide the student to develop an understanding of various aspects of the aviation industry and employment opportunities.
Students will have the opportunity enter into an internship with WURTH CORPORATION USA and learn industrial 3D printing.
Students will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the essential scientific and technological foundations of aeronautics so they are fully prepared for taking further studies and training to become drone pilots or private/commercial airplane pilots.
Students will develop practical skills in mathematics, electrical, electronics, radio communication, rocketry, aviation, navigation, and unmanned aircraft systems (drones). They will also be able to use 3D printing to make parts for experiments, building drones and rockets. They will be prepared to become licensed ham radio operators.
