This course makes heavy use of students' math and problem solving skills as they learn the requirements for constructing a variety of aviation structures, like hangars, runways, ramps (a.k.a. or airplane parking lot) and even terminals. Students will work in groups to apply the engineering principles as they design a new structure and build a model. This course meets one day each week (Thursdays) from 4:30-6:00 for eight weeks. If all course requirements are met, the student will be eligible for a free Young Eagle flight.
