ABOUT THE A.C.T.

In November 2019, Chapter 1354 began construction on a new building, the Young Eagles Aviation Center of Technology. This building will be the home for Chapter 1354’s education mission for the future. With hands-on learning areas, STEM pilot training stations, classrooms, and even a hangar space where students will build a real airplane, the Aviation Center of Technology will provide the foundation for a career in aviation.

Our chapter is also proud to be close partners with the Tuskegee Airmen. This national organization continues the legacy and perseverance of the first all black squadron in World War Two by inspiring and encouraging young people of color to pursue aviation careers.

Future prospective partners also include local organizations that serve young women and minority students, both of which are under-represented in the aviation field.

Our Mission

Our objective is to provide students with the vital knowledge and skills that will lead them to success in the aviation industry. We are specifically seeking students of underserved populations and students who currently do not have an aerospace curriculum in their school.
